I was kind of nervous guaranteeing 220 to our RH but FH is 100% we will meet it.....I am pretty sure we will but it is always a thought in my mind.....we are inviting appx 280 so I am hoping we will have the 220 we guaranteed.
The girl posting on 09 board was under 50...I feel bad that she would have to pay for all of those empty seats and it just got me thinking about it again.......
besides back up B + C lists, what do you girls have planned incase you are under? We don't have a plan!

this is my biggest fear!!! inviting these ppl which are 90% are very close family and friends and many of them replying 'no' - I will be heartbroken! my plan is ask LIW girl to come, as I have no B not to mention a C list

im nervous too. we guaranteed 175 but our guest list has a lot of ppl that we are expecting to say no plus a few ppl have recently passed away.
im not sure what else we can do besides have a b list ?!

I'm not worried about it because we only want 100ppl but we invited 125 and we have another 30 on the B list. If we were still to be under I would just get upgrades.

This is what I plan on doing - although I am scared I am going to be over! We are inviting 360 people total (this includes a B list + C list which we foresee having to use - I just wanted to space out the invitation's just in case we didn't need to go to the C list). Our minimum is 250.

I'm a little worried figuring out the science to this - we guaranteed 185 and have about 220 on our list - my mom is convinced that everyone will say yes, which we all know isn't going to happen, and she doesn't want to be stuck paying for 'extra' people . . . I think it would be perfect and we would end up with our guarantee.

We guaranteed 200 and my A-list alone is 250. So I don't think I'll have a problem. But if I do, I have a b-list, and then we can also ask some co-workers, since we didn't put co-workers on our list at all.
Or.......we have the list here that we all signed up for!

If it really comes down to it and we are THAT far under the minimum, I'm coming on LIW and inviting all you ladies. If I'm paying for the seats and meals anyway, might as well have *someone* enjoy it!!

i do kinda worry about it esp after seeing some 09er posts about being under minimum, but hopefully this wont be the case! in case we're under, all of 2010 liw brides are invited!

i get worried about this too-bc since i made my original list things have gotten complicated-
my grandpa passed, which means im 2 down (him and his wife)
his brother (my great uncle) is sick, and if he passes close to the wedding it would be around 8 ppl were inviting that prob wouldnt be able to come
my cousin just got pregnant, so her and her dh aren't coming, and now i worry if her parents (who are actually my moms cousin) will be coming, along with her 2 brothers..which could be 6 people

I am constantly amazed at how many guests you ladies have!!!
FH and I are struggling to come up with 50 people we want at our wedding...
If we had to come up with even 100 - I would be taking out an add in Newsday!!
