Repost from BHB: I think I found my dress BUT...

The one I fell in love with is champagne color and I am having a June pink and green wedding. Do you think that I should go with the ivory? My Mom thinks that champagne is too much for summer and more for autumn. I am undecided. I think my concern is that it will look weird with the theme of my summer wedding.

Help!!!!! What do you think?????

Personally, I think it has more to do with your skin tones.

I'm partial to ivory though. How dark is the ivory? Is there something between the white and ivory?

I think Champagne is GORGEOUS in any month esp w/ pink and green. The first dress i looked at was champagne and I was like 'no way, its not white'. Then as i looked at it more, I feel more in love w/ it. Turns out, i got a white dress in the end but still really love the idea of champagne

My dress is ivory and champagne, and my girls are wearing pink dresses with champagne sashes. Their flowers will also have green accents. I'm getting married in June, so I say do it!

I actually really like champagne dresses and would have gotten one but my dress only comes in white and ivory. I think it will be fine, you have to go with whatever you're comfortable with. Someone posted above me that they are using chamagne with pink and it sounded really pretty.

<-----------------------my dress is champagne w/white lace over it. i was worried it was too summer...so i'd say your fine!
I think chamapgne can look very $$$$!

You girls are so sweet and supportive I am still thinking but am definatly leaning towards the champagne...do you think it matters if my ring is platinum? Is that a dumb question I worry about the details

Wow, I never even thought of that. But No, I don't think your ring will matter. My dress is a pretty dark ivory and my ring is platinum and it didn't jump out at me as looking bad.
