Repost from BHB: if any of you are looking for deals on jewelry...

DH and I just came back from the Smithaven Mall and Bailey, Banks & Biddle is closing.

the whole store is on sale.

they had Scott Kay jewley for 65% OFF!

we almost bought a new Scott Kay setting for my enagement stone, but we spent enough $ on jewelry this year and they don't have any SK tiffany settings, which I love.

hope this helps someone... because we were seriously thinking about a SK platinum setting (very heavy!) with .40 in baguettes for $700!!

the rest of the jewelry in the store was well priced (for that store)... but the deals weren't blowing me away like the SK merchandise.

oooo man!! why did DH and I have to promise each other NO presents this year!!

This upcoming cruise and our move to Florida is ruining some potentially good jewelry shopping!!

I know what you mean!!!!!!!

it took EVERYTHING I had to walk away from that setting! I could have sold it on eBay for double the price
