Repost from BHB: Recessional & Cake Cutting Song

Trying to get our songs together and having trouble with the Recessional & Cake Cutting Song!

We want something happy & upbeat for both!

For cake cutting ideally if there's something that ties it into 'sweets' it would be perfect!

Currently I'm thinking
Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield for recessional
I like this for the recessional because our whole future lies before us! Unwritten. :)
and
Never Had Nobody Like You (feat Zooey Deschanel) by M. Ward

Thoughts and other suggestions? Thanks!

P.S. I've never done a repost between boards before...is this the 'proper' way???

Cake cutting we are thinking either 'Sweetest Thing' by U2 OR 'Grow old with You' Adam Sandler ..

Recessional we are using an instrumental version of 'Im Yours' Jason Mraz

Not sure about reposting from another board . Im sure its fine

The re-post is fine

cake cutting The sweetest thing-U2

Cake cutting:

'how Sweet it is' James Taylor
'grow old with you' adam sandler
l

we are either doing 'aint that a kick in the head' dean martin

or 'anyone else but you' from Juno..the michael cera version

Sugar Sugar

We're using this for the cake cutting

We don't have a recessional song yet.

Great suggestions!!

The Sugar, Sugar one would be great except I don't think FI will like it. hehe

Going to suggest the Adam Sandler one!
