Repost from BHB: Suggestions for RD near Syosset

The hotel for out OOT guests is in Plainview (right off the LIE) so I am looking for restaurants in the Syosset area for our RD.
I am not looking for a certain type of food, just a place with a private room which does like a pre-set menu.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I totally recommend Mims, the food is good and its a great atmosphere.
