TWOTY was @ VYC, I had the chilean sea bass, i thought it was just ok, but didnt finish it.
We did a tasting there, the food was great, and I'm a total foodie, very picky. I know a lot of people who have been to weddings there and have all said the food was great. Your friends reaction might be due to poor menu choices by the bride. I have heard that some of the entrees are not as good, so I was very careful picking my menu.
I am actually going for a food tasting next wednesday, i do believe that food choices are a very big deal, but just so much negativity is not such a great thing.. thanks so much
My friend had a tasting there this past weekend. Plus my other friend went there for a wedding and said it was very nice too. Don't worry. But I would insist on a tasting
We had no problem getting a tasting. I would call and insist on one. I thought the food was very good at the tasting. I haven't personally been to a wedding there yet, but I have a few close friends who have and they thought it was excellent. I agree with the previous posters that sometimes it can be menu choice.
We just had out tasting at VYC last weekend and we were very impressed. We had no prob getting the tatsing and we happy with the taste and presentation of the food. I have heard such great things about VYC
