I'm trying to come up with a theme for my wedding......or at the very least, a color scheme!!! I'm not the creative type so maybe you guys can sorta steer me somewhere??
I also started thinking about placecard holders----know where I can find some unique quality ones?

The color theme is 100% what your style is. Do you have a favorite color? If not, maybe just go to the store and look at some BM Dresses & see what pops out at you.
We also have a place card thread on here, will try to find it for you

what about a fall theme? since it's september? like nice orange and yellows?? I had originally wanted a fall wedding, but we couldn't because of our schedules (he's a football coach and I'm a teacher to-be)

Sure, a deep red will go awesome with orange and yellow flowers...
I am doing brown dresses with orange, yellow, ivory & green flowers for my JULY wedding Its suitable for fall but those just happen to be the colors I wanted to do.. I threw in green to make it a little less fall-ish...

I am Getting married the same weekend as you =) I havent thought of my colors yet either.. this has been so hard for me to deside... But if red is your favorite color then use it, or do a simple color with a red sash for the BM dresses

I'm also getting married the same weekend you are :). I'm doig blue, white, and bright oranges as my colors because I want a summer-beachy feel. Where are you getting married? Sometimes the location can lead to a great feel or theme for the wedding.
Red and white weddings are gorgeous any time of the year. I used to want to do mine red with a strawberry theme.

I'm getting married at the Carlyle. They're known for the golf course but FH is not into golf, lol. I would have to say that the reason I chose that site is because it is simply elegant and that the ballroom has windows on three sides so lots of light is let in.

There will be hints of olive in the flowers, just to add a contrast.
My 'Theme' is Crystals & Candlelight'
There is going to be candles galore and crystals on the tables, in my flowers, on my cake and I am even wearing them in my jewelry!
