We might go for a week or more this summer with my mom and maybe my bil and sis to visit my aunt in colorado (near denver). I was thinking the really oppressive thing about going to Disneyland is the long flight, so you an't just go there for a few days...HOWEVER, if we're already going to colorado, I thought maybe we could leave for 3 days go to CA, and then come bacK to CO? Either that or we could go to CA first and meet my mom in CO or go to CA after CO and fly back from LA. What do you think? it's probbaly only a 2 hour flight from CO to LA, right?
Is this insane or good?
FH and I REALLY wanted to go to Disneyland this year for the Happiest Homecoming on Earth, but we didn't think it would be possible. This seems like maybe it'll be ok because it was really the airfare that was oppressive.
Also, is it rude to leave a visit with my aunt?

I would either go before or after you go to colorado, not in the middle of the trip, that might just be to hectic. I don't think its rude at all.

Can you take an extra day and fly out to LA first, and spend a couple of days there first, then fly to CO? I was in Denver last month, and we had alot of fun, but took two extra days before the whole family arrived, which was the best idea. I dont think its rude to leave, but thats my opinion, but sometimes family members might. That's why Im saying take your mini vacation in the begining. what are they like?
