Has anyone ever boarded thier dog there? My sister's wedding is coming up in August, and there is no one who can watch my babies.... Rants, raves, recommendations elsewhere are all welcome!!! TIA....

Re: Report from LIF-PetsHotel at PetSmart??
We use Fonab Kennels in Commack. We tried a few sitters/kennels, but this is the only one we truly liked. They book up pretty quick though.

What about boarding your dog with your veterinarian? Many of my DH's clients board with his practice.

we used the willow pet hotel in deer park - it is a bit of a ride from us, but they actually take the dogs out and play with them in the courtyard so they can run around - i think it cost like $2.00 extra for run time ( or whatever they called it ) really nice place and the people really seemed to care about the animals

I would board with your vet. My aunt had to board her dog with the crawford animal hospital inNew Hyde Park. Only positive things were said about them!!

Re: Report from LIF-PetsHotel at PetSmart??
We used the Pet Hotel for our dog for the day before and day of our wedding. Laica is a big dog and we put her in a suite so there was plenty of room. The people there were nice and I went there before reserving to see it and what the people were like. We had no problems with the place, there is someone there 24 hours a day which was important to me since at a vets you do not get that. There is a coupon on the net for a free night that you could use also.
Thanks so much for posting the link to the coupon!!!!

Re: Repost from LIF-PetsHotel at PetSmart??
Yes, I did, but not a dog. I had my cat stay there for 10 days while we were on our honeymoon. They were awesome and took care of my little guy. If I had a dog I would definitely send him there. FM if you have any questions.
