Repost from LIF- Update on my husband

Hello all.

I just wanted to give an update on my husband, for all that care and are concerned.

First of all, thank you so very much for your phone calls, texts, emails and FMs. John and I truly appreciate it.

John is doing well. The sugery went well with no complications. I started to get so nervous because the surgery went longer than supposed to and no one had come out to talk to me. We'll find out in a few weeks if the surgery fixed everything. John was in a lot of pain last night and has a lot of swelling. This morning is a little better. However the swelling hasn't gone down.

I really do appreciate all of the support I receive from this community. Thank you!

I posted on LIF, but I wanted to to know again, that Ed and I are thinking of you and John. I am so glad that the surgery went well.

John is not having a good day today. He has a slight fever, which is not good. He's already on antibiotics. If the fever doesn't go down, then we have to take him back to the doctor.

Sorry I'm a few days late on this - haven't been on the boards in a bit....but Hollie I am happy to hear the surgery went well and hoping your DH is feeling better soon! You're in my thoughts and prayers!
