Re: Repost from NWR - anyone know a good appliance repair guy? PLEASE HELP!!
FH works for GE as a technician, his brother for sears as a technician. he wants to know exactly what it is doing/not doing. is there a problem w/ heating, sparking, etc? i told him 'barking' but he wanted more detail lol. and yes, their service is VERY expensive. he said he would be able to tell you if its even worth fixing depending on what the problem is. if its something like a magnetron tube, that is covered for 10 years so u would only have to pay for service (which is still a rip IMO lol). so i HTH, keep us updated!
