REPOST from NWR...Where can I find BINGO supplies?
Now that I've solved my FIL's christmas present issues, I have moved on to DH's grandmother...I am ordering her a 'bingo/brag bag' from Lillian Vernon...and I want to put some new bingo supplies in it for her. Does anyone know where I can find some bingo supplies? It doesn't have to be online...it can be at a brick and mortar, too! I was thinking maybe Party City, but I haven't gone there yet. Thanks!

Is there a place near you that has bingo? I am pretty sure they sell supplies there.

I don't know! I've only ever gone to Bingo in Florida, when visiting my Grandma. Don't know the first thing about bingo gatherings on LI!

Same here
Keep an eye out when you are driving around - a lot of churches have bingo one night during the week. If you can't find one, let me know. I am pretty sure there's one close to me that has it on fridays. I can pick some stuff up for you and send it to you.

I don't know if they sell supplies or not, but I was in Bed Bath & Beyond this week and they have a little bingo machine and game thingy. I thought it was the cutest little thing. i'm not sure what supplies you are looking for though. i thought the only thing you need at bingo is a marker and the cards you buy!

Yeah, I guess what I'm really looking for are the daubers (markers) that you use on the cards. I wouldn't know what else to get her...I know some bingo fanatics always have a good luck charm with them, but that's something that they usually choose, so that's probably not a good idea....hmmmm....what else?

I have to confess I used to play bingo with some friends years ago. The best thing to have then was....
The magnetic bingo wand! And magnetic bingo chips. The chips had a screen embedded in the plastic and the magnetic wand would quickly pick up your chips from the multiple cards at the end of a game.
We used to keep our chips in plastic margarine tubs. Maybe you could make a creative bingo box or bag to hold the chips.
As for good luck charms - that was half the fun, coming up with goofy good luck charms and you could never have enough. A picture of Paul in a small frame would be a great good luck charm. A Bingo-Themed scrapbook style frame would be great.
The dollar stores, or 99 cent stores might have some of this stuff. I'd even check Walmart in the party games section.

Well...after searching in KB Toys, Toys R Us, Party City and the Teacher Supply store, I *finally* found the bingo markers at the dollar store! Thank you to whomever made that suggestion!!!

Claud....WalMart also has stuff, and tehy have the goofy good luck charm!! I did it as a joke to my cousin when we used to go to Bingo a few summers back!!
