Repost- Help with Brunch Invite Wording!
I am having a total brain fart and this invite wording is like so hard for me for some reason! What do you think of this.. Or should it be a bit more? I also added a pic of the invites we got.
“Toast” the new Mr. & Mrs.
At a farewell brunch
10:30 a.m.
Sunday, April 17, 2005
The Wingate
821 Stewart Avenue
Garden City, New York
FYI- we are going to slip these in the OOT bags and also mail them to close family that lives nearby. It is casual.

Ok- well first-- did you think everyone will get the 'toast' reference? (FH didn't at first
) And I guess- as you can see from the sample- it's like a novella.. just didn't know if I should add a little more 'fluff' to the invite- but not as much as the sample.. Thanks for your input!

Ok-- I have added another section.. Am I freakin delusional?? FH says that the 'new and old friends' doens't make sense.. Don't we all meet people at weddings, etc. and end up talking to them and being FRIENDLY??He is killing me today.
Ok-- what do you think?

again - it sounds great. I always make new friends at a wedding! Your FH sounds like mine. He likes to take things way too literally and overanalyze.
