Unfortunately that really is my FI's nickname. He has had it since he was a baby. Everyone calls him by it. I tried for many months to ease him out of it with no success.

He wanted it on the invitations!!

whoa!!! on the invites?? that's taking it a bit far lol!!! I think it started when we were watching Forrest Gump and I kept quoting it and calling him Bubba....it just stuck!!

I know! I recently told him he couldn't come to a work event if he didn't introduce himself as Tom
