repost-- is it tacky? and dont tell me yes!!

im getting a new dining room set and the chairs unfortunately are beige cushions.

is it tacky if i just wrap the seat (neatly) in freaking saran wrap when our (his) animalistic friends come over? i will be throwing away the plastic along with the trash that night when party is over.. so it wont be an everyday thing..

i just dont want sauce stains on my new chairs!!!!

scotchguard them right away and u can get chair covers cheap at BBB and target, maybe like $10 each and they are nice
