repost-long but worth it-$$$ saver

I must recommend this site because it really works. Although I graduated college in 99 i still have loans to pay. i came across upromise.com and thought it was a gimic but after using it for almost a year now...I MUST pass the info along. I have my loans through Sallie Mae. Heres the deal... I went to upromise.com and signed up. I do a LOT of online shopping..especially now with all this wedding stuff. What you do is register all your credit cards and bank cards...anything you use to make purchase with. Then you link those cards to you current loan account...(sallie mae for me). Whenever I shop I go through the upromise link and type in...for instance 'macys'...then..for everything i buy at macys..i get 3% back. Now everystore has a different % back from 1-25! quarterly these % add up and get deducted from my loan! I SWEAR ITS REAL!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING. this past year...no joke.. Just from shopping alone..my student loan has dropped almost $500 just from money back shopping through upromise! another plus is that friends and family with out loans can also register their cards under your account and pay off your loans too! Its an awesome deal!
Also..if you dont have loans..you can still do this account and just keep the savings banked to put towards your future childres college education!

fm me for more info or go to upromise.com.

definitely check it out..its so worth it....I make monthly payments at sallie mae.com and every quarter upromise calculates my spending on purchases and automatically deducts that amount from my running loan balance...its great!

I'm going to vouch for upromise too!!! I've had about $200 over the last 9 months taken off my loan simply from doing what I would normally do anyway...shop!! It's definitely a great way to take money off your student loans!! And you get a lot of discounts too from certain stores. I got my STD's from VistaPrint and I got 50% off for shopping through upromise and then I got 6% back on them too!! upromise is awesome!!
