Repost....from BHB I had a breakdown today

i have been looking for a makeup and hair stylist for weeks. I found one and the trial was great but she has a minimum of 4 people and BM are 80$. I can't ask any one to pay that much. I went to a department store hair salon for a hair and make up trial. The hair was okay but frizzy and the makeup was not me at all. The makeup was to thick and heavy. After 2 hours my hair started to fall apart. I had another hair appt today at hair salon and the hair dresser had me waiting an hour!!! I finally asked her should I wait or reschedule. She asked me to reschedule 4 tomorrow. No thanks!!!! So i went home and
FH says don't worry I still have time, blah,blah,blah.
My dad finally gave me his list after hounding him for 3 months and he says 60 people!! That pushes my guest list 50 over my limit. i cannot afford that. And he hasn't mentioned any money talk.
My mom made me add 3 girls as my BM b/c my side is less then FH's side. Now I regret it b/c I can't find the girls dresses. I found my BM dresses at JC Penny for 59$. My girls mom took forever to call me back and now I can't find dresses for the them. FH said to drop them and stress over things that are important. And I agree.

In the end FH cheered me up and now I am smiling Well maybe not until I get a hair and makeup stylist.

You do have time...my wedding is in less then 2 months and I have no make up artist booked and havent done a trial But I know that it will all come together. Try not to stress about that.
As for the # of people tell him its tooo much, and you cant afford it-maybe he will offer to pay for them.
And the dresses...have you looked on line or asked them if you can order them??? Maybe even get them shipped from another store???

seriously, makeup? hair? i know its stuff were supposed to do - but cmon!! if i actually put on a drop of makeup or do anything with my hair, none of my loving friends and family - particularly FH - will recognize me!!
