I was reprimanded at work for leaving early because of the snow. I live in Queens and my boss told me that maybe I should reconsider the job because of the commute. Never said Michelle please I know its dangerous go leave early.

Are you kidding!! Do you work for Pure Evil & Co? it's a blizzard and the roads are dangerous and it's only going to get worse, just ignore your boss! I'm sure he'll feel different when he can't get home because he's snowed in at the office!

She is a woman but I have a feeling she is echoing the big cheese (a man) who is personally IMHO an idiot (not just because of this). I am mad they didnt' have my back. How would they feel if I got hurt. I will call her later and see what she says.

I got reprimanded at my very first job for being late...It was 5 years ago during the summer and it was pouring rain...the subways were flooded and had to be shut down and I had to walk in heels from Penn Station to E 54th street...quite a hike! I was spoken to for not being there to run a report!!!
Oh and to top it off the VP had to make the same trek and everyone felt so bad for him and was falling all over him the whole day and he went home early!!
I only stayed there for 4 months...God I hated that place!

What an a**. My weekend boss (yes I have 2 jobs) is in Florida and called to tell me to leave once it started coming down hard.
Some people can be so inconsiderate.
