8 months out from the wedding and just starting to look into hair/makeup. How did you go about it? I figured that it's really based on the artist's availability, online portfolio, and prices. Did you do everything via phone or email...or did you actually meet with anyone in person?

Angela is $150 for hair. We met for the trial where I signed the contract but the rest of correspondence is via email. She is so good and very nice. Can't recommend her enough!

Trials: $75 Day of Bride: $200 ($250 if only Bride) Bridesmaid / MOB: $100 Bridesmaids Package: 4 or more Bridesmaids/MOB receive special price of $85pp (excludes bride) Travel Fees applied when traveling 30 mins or more outside of Bellmore. Plus tolls and Parking. $50 Assistant fee applied to parties of 7 or more

I had my trial with Erica Luong of Erica Does Makeup, and I loved the makeup! She only does airbrush. Here is her pricing:
$300 for bride's MU/hair $200 for BM's MU/hair
Everyone gets false eyelashes and the bride gets a free touch up lip gloss.
Trials are $100 each, and on the day of, you need to have a minimum of 4 girls.
I didn't love my hair, but I didn't hate it. I will pay for another trial for something more simple. But I loved the makeup and the airbrush...felt like nothing was on (and I rarely wear makeup). The lashes definitely take getting used to.

My mother and I got a trial today from Elizabeth Aiello, the trial is $40 for the bride or anyone else and then the day of it's $150 for the bride and $75 for the bridesmaids and mothers. She was wonderful!
Also it's the same price for regular or airbrush and she doesn't charge extra for false individual lashes!
