If I have to have my count to the restaurant by August 20th should I put the 11th of August as my respond by date on the rsvp's? or should it be the week before?

I also did a month before respond date. That way I would have enough time to track down any stragglers.

Id say a month is a good idea. I had like 2 weeks and it was a terrible decision. I was calling people who didnt respond lat minute!

I had no idea also but when I ordered my invites, the invitation place automaically put it at one month before also so I guess that's standard.

Me three. I put 1 month before. Good thing b/c I had put 1 month, Thursday is our response date and we're missing about 120 people to repond (not 120 cards, just 120 people)

Mine is like 6 weeks before my wedding...wedding is July 16th..RSVP 6/4...I knew I would have to hunt people down...so I wanted to allow for that

You should put your response date 1 month prior. I would use August 1. My response date is June 1 and we only have about 60% of our responses back so far. 1 more week for the rest.
