How far before the wedding should you make the RSVP date on the reponse cards?

We made ours one month before, so August 16.

OOH... I am getting married the day before you! My rsvp date is 9/25.

Mine is also a month before the wedding for the rsvp date, they will be sent out two months before the wedding

Ours was 1 month before the wedding. It was also the date guests needed to book their hotel rooms by. We didn't want to confuse with too many dates.

So if the RSVP date is a month before the wedding, how far in advance should we send out the invites?

FH and I are stuffing them tonight to hopefully be mailed out Thurs/Fri. It's early, but I want them mailed out for our many OOT guests to plan accordingly.

I sent ours out just about 2 months before the wedding, with a response date of 1 month before the wedding

typically, one month before the wedding....so 9/28 for you.

I've heard that 1 month is the standard, but I'm going to have A and B lists, so I may break the tradition and make the RSVP date 6-8 weeks before the wedding.

i made it 1 month before the wedding date and will mail them 6 weeks before the rsvp date
