Respone cards - Long Island Weddings
I got 4 back out of all the ones I sent, I just gave people who didn't responds seats away to other people. For my family I called, FH family we emailed. Everyone was 'of course we're going' Like I should have just assumed so. I feel like I wasted money on stamps I didn't need to.

FH has read this on previous threads and asked me to convey this info to you: The date you Need it by is the date most Mail it by.
For some reason they think the date on the reply card is the date it should be sent back to you not the date you Need it.
Hopefully you have a week pad time and can wait a week to finalize the number of guests and seating arrangements.
For anyone who hasn't sent out their invitations, keep this in mind, and have your RSVP date one weeks earlier than you actually need it.
Good Luck.

If people dont send it back right away it probably ends up in a pile of 'things to do'. Still sucks, but I'm sure no one is doing it on purpose!!

This is exactly what I did!! I gave 2 weeks actually so I can wait a week and then call whoever else forgot to send back
