What is the proper way to respond yes to a wedding if the response card is blank?

Your supposed to write a message. My friend did that for her ultra-formal wedding....I was so stressed about what to do with it.

Just put something like 'Jane and Jack will gladly attend. We're looking forward to helping celebrate such a beautiful occasion.'
