I want to number the response cards - but I forgot - Do I # the card inside the envelope or the outside envelope?
Please help!!! I want to finish stuffing by the end of this week.

i havent done mine yet but I will be doing the back of the card lightly in pencil...i think on the envelope it might get smudged or damaged in transit

Re: Response Cards
It is done because some ppl don't write there name on the card. If you put a number on it and keep a list of names and their numbers then you can look at the back of the card for the number and check the list to see who sent it.

Re: Response Cards
i did this it really worked out great. Especially because a lot of people rsvp with their married name which i wasnt familiar with. i got back 2 rsvp that were torn in transport and it happened to still have the magic number. HTH. Good luck.
