I am making my inviations this weekend and i am also going to be making the response cards if i am getting married on feb 11th 12 when should i ask for the rsvps? Also when should i send out the invitations?
I believe 'etiquette' wise it's supposed to be guests receive them a minimum of 6 weeks before the wedding and you should have responses by 2 weeks prior. However, I like to give myself more time, so I am probably going to do 8 weeks before with a RSVP date of 3 weeks before the wedding. You never know who you might have to chace down for an answer!
i will prob send out invites 2 months before, with an RSVP of 1 month before

im sending out 3 months before and giving them 3 weeks before to RSVP.. although the holidays are in the middle there so i may have to rethink that one!!
How far in advance does your RH need a final head count? I would add 2 weeks onto that date to allow for time to chase people down if need be.
