response cards envelops??

Is it tacky to use labels on your response cards? We are making out own invitations & the printer is messing up the response envelop when we print I said just print it as labels


Also do we also have to put a return address being that we know there is a stamp on it because we put it there and its goong to us??

I just read that you should hand write them MY had writing is HORRIBLE

I think labels would be fine or hand write them. Sorry for the printer problems.

Re: return address, I believe all mail needs to have a return address.

I definitely do not think you have to hand write them! I am going to print them on the computer the same way I do the envelopes. I know there has been a lot of debate on here about labels and no labels, you can do either. I would just suggest to do the response envelopes the same way you do the outer envelopes (if you printed the outer envelopes then I would also print the inner envelopes and not hand write them). This is JMO though, I haven't consulted any etiquette books!

as for putting a return address on the rsvp envelopes, we did not. since there's a stamp, w/ or w/ out a return address, it will end up at your home.

I agree! I was going crazy because the .63 stamps weren't available when i sent my invites out last month. but guess what????

I sent them out
got back responses
and none of my guests told me that my stamps were hideous

that is whay I said and FH SAID you have to put a return addres so we jusy put lines for them to fill out

Same here!!! The yellow and blue stamps were horrible!!!!!

Use the labels. They will be absolutely fine.
I still don't understand the big deal over stamps. Do you REALLY think anyone notices them?
