Response cards that don't have the 'will not attend' option?

Response cards that don't have the 'will not attend' option?

I have a wedding response card that I need to send back NO, but it doesn't have the 'will attend/will not attend' on it. Just has a line for our names w/ a 2nd line of # of persons. How do I decline on a response card like this? I guess i'm used to the traditional ones that you have to check off.

You can put in '0' attending, and then maybe tell them that you're sorry you couldn't be there you have a prior engagement.

Same as above, put zero, but make sure to write a nice note of congratulations and regrets that you can't be there. Opening those 'not attending' cards from people who didn't even bother to write congratulations was always kind of a bummer.
