response date question?
I was thinking about this, and had the thought of asking for a response 6 weeeks ahead of our July 4th wedding. It is only 2 weeks earlier then I haad originally thought, and would make the finances easier to sort out. Is this WAY to early?

response date question?
I don't think so - our stationer put almost 5 weeks out for our RSVP date.

The earlier the better...
Our date is only 2 weeks before the wedding date and we are going crazy trying to arrange the seating. I say the earlier the better. Good luck!

response date question?
We'd like to put our response date about 4 weeks before the wedding. Maybe sooner. We thought it's better, since we live out of state, and it's going to be Labor Day weekend. I'm sure it'll be fine. Since it's a holiday, I'm sure majority of people will know if they can go or not. Good luck!

response date question?
I think 6 weeks prior to the event is a bit early. Stick with the one month deadline. Since it is a holiday wedding. Have you sent out Save the Date cards? Perhaps you could add an RSVP line to it to help out.

keep in mind - some people won't know yet
I'm waiting for responses - I've got 1 week left and its killing me. I wish I put an earlier date (I put April 1st for the 27th), but some of the people who haven't responded just don't know yet. Its dependent on their travel schedule, work committments, etc. Things they won't necessarily know until closer to the date. So if you make your date earlier, it doesn't mean you'll actually get responses earlier. Or some people may have to say No cause they're unsure.Welcome New Vendors
