Response with gift

One of my responses came back today, and it was a NO. The person sent a gift along with the resonse though. Do I send a Thank You now, or after the wedding?

I've been sending the Thank you's as the gifts come in. I will probably also send a picture thank you with the rest. I'd rather send two than have people wonder if I received the gift and if I care!
