Responses....URGH!

so we have been getting a bunch of responses in... they are so exciting!!


however, today we get a response that says Mr & Mrs. (FH's last name) and no return address either!!

Do you know how many couples we invited that are Mr & Mrs (FH's last name)!!! That is not only his parents. but his aunt and uncle, plus about 3 or 4 sets of cousins!! so i guess we just have to wait until the rest arrive and use the process of elimination to see who they are!!!

This is why we numbered the back of the rsvp cards with the corresponding number from the guest list. We actually had just the 'will attend' or the 'will not attend' line checked with no names! But we were able to find out right away who they were.

Glad you're getting RSVPs in!!

I'm afraid of that happening to me too. That's why I'm going to put a # on the envelope under the stamp, then when they come back like that I'll match it up to who was assigned that #!

Yes! I had the same thing! I numbered the back of the cards also and it helped tremendously!!!

I did the same thing!!!!!! I know my family...they will mail it back with no name! As if I was psychic

We are down to about half of our responses still out. I love getting the mail everyday!

Isnt it exciting!!

& Im surprisingly getting some early no's!

That's exactly what we were afraid of - but then learned (thanks to this site) about numbering RSVP's - best advice I've ever received.

That is so annoying. When I went to a Perfect Wedding Planner thing at Fox Hollow - they mentioned that you should keep a chart - in excel - with everyone listed by number and then write the corresponding number on the back of the response cards! I think it's a fantastic idea...this way you know who is responding in a situation like this.
