I need a place for Mother's Day between Great Neck and Merrick - somewhere my DH can get Chicken (he's allergic to meat and very picky) and somewhere that the rest of us can something more interesting...
Any ideas? We would like to take my mom out on Fri. night possibly b/c my folks are away this weekend...

Cafe Continental in Manhasset (on Northern Blvd right next to Barnes and Nobles passed Lord & Taylor)...the food is sooo good...FH & I go there at least once a month...its Italian food so your FH can get chicken but they also have some great dishes for the rest of you (I recommend the stuffed veal...like butter)...the atmosphere is really quaint...I would make reservations...its small and gets crowded pretty fast

My FH LOVES LOVES LOVES Violettas on Sunrise in Merrick. We end up there at least once every few month. I know that it's not halfway between, but it's still good.

Guy Anthony's in Bellmore on Jerusalem. They have just about everything there and the food is excellent!!!
