Restaurant help!

Restaurant help!

I'm looking to have a small wedding - about 50 people or so and decided I'd like to do something small and intimate like maybe rent a restaurant out.

Any suggestions for Eastern long island?

Maybe some place waterfront or just a restaurant that has an area for the ceremony outside?

TIA!

Try the Riverview in Oakdale

The Snapper Inn in Oakdale is also very nice - it's on the same road as the Riverview so you could check them both out in one day.

Out east ... try Claudio's in Greenport.

Not sure how east you're looking, but Hampton Bays has some beautiful spots: Top of the Wharf, Oaklands, Inn Spot on the Bay. Check them out!

This is not east, and i know that, but my sister had a beautiful wedding at the Fisherman's Catch Restaurant in Point Lookout, next to Long Beach. They closed the whole restaurant for her!

I love the decor at La Volpe in Center Moriches. It is very Tuscan - like

I see a lot of girls are posting about The Snapper and Riverview. I live around the block from them both so here's a little info...HTH!

The Snapper Inn has a nice outdoor pavillion if you're looking for outdoors....I know they start at around $89 per head. They aren't cheap. I dealt a lot with them so if you'd like more info...FM me.

The Riverview only hosts weddings on Saturdays from 11-4.

I'm getting married at the Riverview in 2010. Their minimum is 100 for their wedding but I know on sunday's during their brunch they will close off the exterior deck for private parties. Maybe you can do something like that.
