We're planning my best friends Bachelorette Party... We're seeing a show on Varick St/Charlton St downtown (at the 'Culture CluB'. I havent been in the city in quite some time, so Im not sure of what the 'hot spots' are anymore
Any good restaurants in that area ? or even within 10-15 blocks? No preferance on food type, well not Italian (we eat that all the time ) Something with a wide selection bar/grill type place ? Preferable outdoor seating ?

Why not down in TriBeCa - El Teddys - Mexican Odeon - American OR Tortilla Flats on Washington Street-they have outside seating and cataer to large groups-a real blast.

Tortilla Flats is a good option....cheap, good bachelorette party type of crowd.

that is considered SoHo, so there are tons of restaurants right there.
Aqua Grill is a few block away... or Spring Lounge 48 Spring Street at Mulberry Street New York, NY 10012 It is one of those cool pub/trendy places too

Not sure if this is convenient, but there are a lot of fun restaurants in Little Italy for bachelorette parties. I just went the La Mela (Vela) ? a few weeks ago and it was so much fun. Good luck...

Little Italy is an option too.
Has anyone been to Tennessee Mountain (i beleive its a steakhouse) my BIL has been there and raved about it.

In Little Italy, I went to Puglia's for a bachelorette party. It is the kind of place where you can dance in the aisle or on your chairs if you like an dthey have this one man band guy. There were like 3 other bachelorette parties there.
I had dinner at Cafe Espanol for mine. They treated us really well and recommend them. Because we had a large group and I didn't want my friends spending a ton of $$$, they did this price fix thing for us. They gave us family style appetizers like 4 different things, dinner menu of like 5 things to choose from (we got to pick the choices too) and dessert plus all you can drink beer, wine and sangria. I think it was like $35 or something. We were soo stuffed. I don't think anyone finished their entree (and I never do that) and no one even got dessert!!! The service was great too. I recommend them if you are looking for something like that.

Lauren: So happy to hear you loved LaMela- my dad's friend owns it and I have been there tons of time s- the food is AWESOME (which is saying a lot from someone whose parents lived in Italy), generous portions and so much fun! HIGHLY recommended.

great ideas ! Niecey good idea about getting a fixed price. It will be under 10 of us, so we might not have to do thats.. I'll look into those places also
