Our 1 year engagement anniversary is coming up. We were engaged in Hampton Bays right on the inlet so we thought it'd be nice to go back out there and have a nice dinner.
Can anyone recommend someplace nice? (not Oaklands -- FH is kinda picky and wasn't crazy about the menu)
Anyone ever eaten at Edgewater?

Tide Runners...not as good but right on the canal

We had our RD at Indian Cove and it was very cute.
Atlantica is a resturant on certain days and the food there is outstanding. http://www.tierramar.com/tierramar/index.html

Buckley's is AWESOME food!! We went their for our 8 year dating anniversary this past January. They have a more american type fare, but it was delicious!!

I second Docker's. If you don't mind something a little pricier and I little farther away, I hightly recommend Stone Creek Inn. It's in East Quogue. The food is amazing and the feel is VERY romantic. Sadly, I've only been there with my parents. We were going to have them cater the wedding but they were WAY too expensive.

Where is Dockers? Is that the place with the big outside deck? (the menu's are blue?) LOL -- we went to eat somewhere the night we got engaged but I can't remember the name for the life of me!

I went to Edgewater this past weekend and it was great. The service was great, the food was fantastic and it was nice to sit on the deck.

Dockers is on Dune Road in Quogue, but pretty close to Westhampton. It overlooks Shinnecock Bay and is very well decorated. I think my FH's family will eat there the Thursday before our wedding.

Rosemary's is relatively new and the food is SO delicious!!!! it's a little bit of a less formal atmosphere, but it's really nice in the evening and the food is SO yummy From what i remember it's right on main st.(i'm assuming it's main st.) on the corner right across from salon east.

Along the lines of Dockers...check out John Scott's - on Dune Road. If you cross over the bridge in West Hampton (that ends at the Beach and Tennis Club), make a right. Its about a mile or 2 down on the right.

oooh! Can you tell me about John Scotts? I've never been there. Do you know if they stay open late? Is it more like a bar or a restaurant? Can you go there for drinks at night? Thank you!
