Can anyone recommend a yummy (but not very expensive) restaurant in the Grand Central Station area? FH and I are taking our e-pics there on Friday and I figured it'd be nice to have a little night out after that. I looked into the places in GCS but they are soooooo expensive.

Try Josie's on 37th and 3rd---good healthy food and a good atmosphere. Only a few blocks south of GCS.

77th and amsterdam. its not by penn station.. but its by central park
the cottage. its chinese and thai food. if u dont like spicy food. tell them not ot make it spicy.. but everything on the menu ,except hack chicken is AMAZINGG
its dirt cheap and free unlimited wine.

And don't forget, Grand Central has a Junior's...pick up some dessert while you're there

Siniqual (Mexican) on 3rd bet 41st and 42nd is good. It just opened about a year ago.
Or, if you are looking for super close, there's Pershing Square which is on 42nd and Park, right under the overpass. I've only been there for breakfast, but it was pretty good.
