Restaurants for a Reception

Restaurants for a Reception

Can anyone recommend a restaurant for a wedding party of 100? I don't need dancing or CP or any of that. Just a nice restaurant with good food that can hold 100 people.

I'm trying to get ideas for a bargain wedding.

Long Island only?

I'm asking b/c the Chart House in Weehawken, NJ holds weddings. Its a restaurant on the water with incredible NYC views. My DH's cousin is getting married there this Saturday and a coworker of mine is getting married there next May.

i would try pompei in west hempstead, it is a great place and the food is really good, you probably could have an amzing wedding there for the money. They have a dance floor too and you can get a dj for a great price.

My mom had her second marriage at La Pace in Glen Cove-- they had a separate ceremony room, a dance floor and good food-- and even a separate bar area-- I have no idea how much it cost- but, it would be worth a phone call.. it was really nice for a small wedding.

Just an FYI- I looked at Cafe on the Green in Bayside- the food is fantastic, but I would not classify it as a contender for a 'bargain' wedding. In fact, the prices we were quoted there were higher than most of the other places we looked at. It is a very nice place, just not sure if that is what you are looking for. They do have a website with the menus. FM me if you want the prices I was quoted.

I was going to say the same thing. They are a restaurant as well as a catering hall and are pretty expensive.

I second Pompeii- They have the greatest food- I had my 30th and engagement party there- They have a ton of food choices and the price is reasonable- I did a buffet with about 86 people and it worked out really good.

The Elmont and West Hempstead location both have rooms with dance floors.
