Restaurants in BK/Queens

Restaurants in BK/Queens

Ok so we are aiming for our e-party in oct/nov......we need a good restaurant that can hold about 75-85 people.

We were thinking of doing a cocktail party, with a bunch of appetizers and h'odervs passed around all night and a bunch of drinks (obviously )....

Since FH is from BK and all the wedding things, RH, CH, etc is in LI, I want to be fair and have something close to his house for the e-party..

Does anyone know any good restaurants in BK or Queens.....

Please make some suggestions, other than Matteo's....

have it at Verdis in Whitestone, Ive been to a really nice eparty there and im having my shower there. they redid the entire place(3 rooms) 2 months ago. i think thye are done with the main room now.

u cant do it on 10/3 10/4 11/7 and 11/21-30 cuz im busy those days. k?

LOL ok - I just read that to FH and he goes....'oh ok let me mark it down' lol...

is that a catering hall or a restaurant??? We don't want a catering hall party....a nice restaurant is more our thing....

its a catering hall.. the room im having my shower is also used as their restaurant. it hold 70 ppl tho.

if not, have it at Cavo, or island?

Carasellos (sp?) up on Crossbay (across from Russo's).

I went to a nice Baby shower there about a year ago. The only thing is that a lot of familes go with their kids because they have video games. The kids didn't bother us and it works well if you do have some younger kids..something to keep them busy.

We were supposed to have it at my uncles restaurant in Bay Ridge but it doesn't hold our guest list I don't think.....thanks for making me feel like more skata for feeling SO behind!!!

we were relying on having it there - then when FH decided to invite the whole bensonhurst community, we realized we don't fit there too comfortably. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ok give me some more also....I am making a list and giving it to FH to call a bunch and go check them all out....I can't tell him only Verdis lol....we need to book by this weekend so we can get invites done ASAP!!!!

i think verdis might be nice... or theres laterna on bell blvd and like 47th... thats where i had my engagement party and it was really nice

monahans or donavans (both in bayside) both have party rooms and will do cocktail parties- ive planned my end term party for work at both places, very nice and prices, food and drinks are very good

russos has a restaurant but i duno the name

what about sheepshead bay? theres a rest thats like wooden diagonallly across from roll n roaster. its the only spot on that block that i didnt see waterbugs n roaches. food was good

or marias in sheepshead?

cavo, island,ammos, veridss,PLUMM? its cute but i dont know if they will close it for a private party?

in americana (manhasset) theres a restaurant in the strip of stores... i heard the food is amazing, but i looked too poor that day, so they had me waiting for like 25 min to speak to some1 ..and i got ignored so i left. but its cute.

theres also louies in pt. washington.. but u want brooklyn/queens

scandals. its a strip club. and yes, theres a greek flag on the outside. REPRESENT!! they have reallyy good food there, but i dont think its the type of atmosphere youre looking for.
