Restaurants in BK/Queens

Ok so we are aiming for our e-party in oct/nov......we need a good restaurant that can hold about 75-85 people.

We were thinking of doing a cocktail party, with a bunch of appetizers and h'odervs passed around all night and a bunch of drinks (obviously )....

Since FH is from BK and all the wedding things, RH, CH, etc is in LI, I want to be fair and have something close to his house for the e-party..

Does anyone know any good restaurants in BK or Queens.....

Please make some suggestions, other than Matteo's....

What about Park Side in Corona? My family has done sooo many things there from Graduations to birthdays to anything and everything. GREAT food and reasonably priced. Totally a restaurant too.

I had my e-party at Anthony's on Union Tpke and it was perfect for our size (90 ppl). Food was great too!

We had our eparty at Villa Russo in Queens and it was great! It's a restaurant owned by the people who own Russo's on the Bay. The food was fantastic. We had tiny issues with the service but they made up for it by throwing in fruit and dessert platters. It was minor stuff so I would definitely have a party there again.

I'm from brooklyn . . . and there is this restaurant in Bay Ridge called New Corners, and its amazing <33 we've had parties there . . . I don't know how many people it holds but they have really really great food!!

I am from brooklyn too and I also represent the bensonhurst community lol

you can try:

La Sorrentina (11th ave and 66th street - I had my eparty here)

Gino's (5th ave btwn 74th & 75th)

Pearl Room (3rd Ave)

Il Fornetto (Sheepshead Bay)

Verdi's in Whitestone would be perfect! It is convenient, can hold a few pople or a big party. We are actually considering for our rehersal dinner My family has had many parties/dinners there over the years (its just like 5 blocks from my parents house!) and we keep going back!

If u want cocktail party atmosphere- u should look into like a bar type..

Grand Cafe- has a very pretty private room in the back with a separate bar...

Cavo

Central (we do our xmas party here because we try to get the cocktail hour atmosphere as well)

Island

Lincontro- Has a wine bar on the opposite side of it.. Food is Delish.. (but i think its just beer and wine so i dunno how that might work)

I think i pretty much covered Astoria for ya..lol

Giordanos - off of Northern Blvd / Douglaston Pkwy in Douglaston. Same owners as Russo's

What about Parkside - I think it is in Corona - it is a really good italian place!

i went there for my moms bday. service was really good. food was good, not over-the-top amazing. but yummy nonetheless

they have a party rooom too.

Not sure where you are looking in Brooklyn, but La Villa in Mill basin or Bay Ridge is reallllllllllllllly good.

Then in Bay Ridge, they also have Mambo Italiano, Gino's, Casa Pepe, Greenhouse cafe. All really good. We had my sister's bridal shower at Gino's and it was really nice.
