Michaels has great food, but is pretty $$. If you are on a budget, I would try;

La Trattoria Avenue U (east 20's)

Buckleys (Nostrand Avenue)

Chadwicks (Bay Ridge)

Cebu (Bay Ridge) - Has a nice seating area in back that can fit your amount of people.

Kar (Chinease, Avenue N/Ralph Avenue)

Believe it or not Outback on 86th street has party rooms/so does TGI Fridays.

Good Luck!

Kar is awesome..the food is more modern...they have less traditional dishes...ex..basil chicken, monk fish etc...

They are located on Avenue N between East 59th Street and Ralph Avenue. The place is nice too!

Gail, definitely check out Cebu. They have a myspace: Cebu myspace

Dh and I go to brunch there often.

I went to a nice restaurant in Bay Ridge this weekend. It was called SANCHOS. The food was phenominal and not pricey at all. (If your into Spanish cuisine) I would check it out. There is a pvt room in the back.
