I'm going out to eat with a girlfriend. Are there restaurants around there? We want something with a good atmosphere.

what about sweetwaters or butterfields in hauppague? they are great? there is also a bertuccis in hauppaugue and across from that is san marco where my eparty was...good food in all of these places. in smithtown, there is old street pub which is casual but has great food...HTH

La Panchita in Smithtown. It's on main street across from Mandees. The food is absolutely amazing and always fresh. It's also the place where FH and I had our very first date!!

carabas and famous daves on 347, branchinellis is on 111 in hauppauge, Baja Grill on 25 A in smithtown is great

Jade Garden is a really good chineese restaurant on rte 111 in hauppague
it's like right behind AC Moore, so you can go shopping too!
