Restaurants in Montauk

Anyone go there or have any recommendations? Whenever we go we can't find anywhere to eat!
Thanks so much!

I have been there a lot and I go to:
Gosman's (in the summer)
ShagWong
Oyster Pond
Crow's Nest

Re: Restaurants in Montauk

We used to spend our anniversaries and birthdays there. We stayed off season in their suites with the two floors and the verandas. Oh what I would give to go back and relive those days.
We always wound up eating at the Manor because we could only find pubs in town and we try to eat as soon as we get hungry because if we don't--irratiability kicks in!
Where do you stay when you go there? We are looking for a new place because we don't particularly care for the service and reservation policy at the Manor anymore.

Re: Restaurants in Montauk

The Harves On Fort Pond is AWESOME!!! A little pricey, but the food is great, and it's a nice place. When I go to Montauk, I stay at the Royal Atlantic East. It's a beautiful condo on the ocean.

Re: Restaurants in Montauk

When we go, we stay at Daute's Albratross. It is a double occupancy room with a kitchen efficiency. It is about 100 ft. from the beach right in town.

I used to work at Gosmans!! Always a good choice of course. We like Mavy Road. Food is good. Sunsets are awesome.

Re: Restaurants in Montauk

Harvest is great. So is Shagwon, O'Murphy's, Gosmans, The Dock and Montauk Yacht Club. On your way out there stop at Cyril's for a drink. He has good food too, but he puts on quite a show in his Sarong!

If you are staying out there, try the Surf Club!

Re: Restaurants in Montauk

Does anyone know what happened to the Windjammer???? We stayed overnight there once about 8 years ago, and they had such amazing food at their restaurant .. but when I tried calling there a couple of years ago .. it seemed like the place had closed.

Anyone know???
