Re: Restaurants in Nassau
FH and I went out to dinner for my bday this weekend to Milleridge Inn. We had a fabulous time. For about $20-$25 each you get an appetizer, salad, entree, dessert, coffee, and tea. Its just regular old American food like pot roast, chicken, turkey, steaks, and fish. We really liked that the waiters don't rush you out of the restaurant like every other chain restaurant around here. They also have the village shops that you can walk through. Its a cute little romantic spot. HTH

Re: Restaurants in Nassau
City Cellar in Garden City, by the Source Mall....it is slightly pricey, but not too bad and they have a huge selection of wine and dessert.....I would have an appetizer, wine and dessert if I were you....the dinner was good but then I was too full to even consider the dessert and let me tell you.....everything looked and smelled incredible!!
Also, Cara Mia in Queens. It is an adorable Italian restaurant that reminds me of someone's living room. The food is good and the price is great....I love how cozy it is

Here's a tip
Go to www.restaurant.com Register with them, it is free.
They will send you emails (make sure you sign up for them) with 50 - 70% off gift certificates.
Their regular price is $10 for a $25 gift certificate and $3 for a $10 gift certificate towards lunch.
There are so many restaurants on there. I eat out all the time and we use them a lot.
so when they get to be 70% off you can get a $25 gift certificate for $3 and they are good for 1 year from date of purchase. Just read any restrictions like good for $50 worth of food or not good on weekends.
Cara Mia is on there but for a $50 food purchase which two people won't make. It's fairly cheap.
Piccolo Bussola in Mineola and Huntington is listed and it's $25 off a $35 purchase. Can't go wrong.
