Re: Restaurants near Rockville Centre (st agnes)

TONS of options in RVC...

Cannon's Blackthorne is new and on N. Village Ave. A friend of mine owns it and it's HUGE... they have a great dining area (they will make private for you) and a big pub area with lots of large booths and hanging out area. Irish pub fare, steaks, etc.

I also like Monaghan's which is right across the street from Blackthorne's on North Village.

Italian you could do Blue Moon on Park Avenue.

If you like Mexican and want a 'fun' atmoshpere, i love Cabo on Park Avenue. they have good drink specials.

Sometihng a little more low key is mcArthur Park on Maple Avenue...they have a private room.

All these are within walking distance of St. agnes. I am sure there are many more I am forgetting....RVC is full of great restaurants.

Re: Restaurants near Rockville Centre (st agnes)

I was going to suggest Black Thorne's also! It used to be a small hole in the wall, but I heard good things about it lately. I went there last week and it is sooo nice!! It has a lot of nice tables and booths and even a section in the back with tables. It's definitely big enough for a rehearsal dinner. And what's funny is my friend that I was with (who is an '07 bride) looked at me and was like you should have your shower or rehearsal here! LOL....so it's funny you should ask about places in RVC.

It's also a nice bar to go at night!!!

Dodici! Had my e-party there. It's on Park Avenue.
Also George Martin is excellent too!

Re: Restaurants near Rockville Centre (st agnes)

I grew up in RVC. I was thinking of Blue Moon, George Martin and Dodici as well. There is also Chadwicks - right accross the street from the train station, so very close to St. Agnes. George Martin and MacArthur Park are also right there (definitely a short walk from the church). Frank's Steaks is great and also has a private room. There are a TON of restaurants in Rockville Centre so it really depends on what type of RD you want.

This might help:Rockville Centre Restaurants

My friends had their RD there, we walked over from St. Agnes after the rehearsal and the food was great! I was stuffed when we left.

Re: Restaurants near Rockville Centre (st agnes)

We had our Rehearsal dinner in Rockville Center at Cannon's Blackthorne and had an amazing time. Everyone raved about the food!!! I actually was against having it there but my DH pushed for it and he definitely made a great decision!

FM me if you have any questions
