restaurants with entertainment?

restaurants with entertainment?

I am trying to plan my mom's 50th birthday party and am trying to find a place to have dinner that also has entertainment. Maybe something like Don Juan's on Old Country Road. Nassau county or Queens is preferred.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

There is a little place in Franklin Square that has mostly Italian food, but on Friday nights they have a Brazilian band that plays. It didn't make sense (the combo) and when I asked I was told that the owner has a few restaurants in NYC and the band plays there. When he opened a place on LI the band agreed to play out here too.

There is also a Tequila Sunrise on Bell Blvd. in Bayside. We had our rehearsal dinner there and they were great! I think the Mariachi band plays most nights (check to be sure). They printed up menus for us (I didn't even expect that - it was never discussed!) and had balloons too, which were tastefully decorating our area. They have a couple of options for the bar bill to help control your costs, depending on which option you want to go with.
