anyone know of restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving for dinner? We'd like to have something available for our out of town guests. We were going to cater - but logistically its going to be a nightmare.
I know that the Miller Ridge Inn is open - but they do not take reservations and I'd hate to have my 30person party waiting for 3 hours.
Any suggestions? Would love with a pre-fix menu set and located in or around Westbury/Jericho/Glen Cove.

Re: Resturants in Nassau for Thanksgiving?
Try the Inn at New Hyde Park. I have been there for their Thanksgiving dinner and it is very reasonable and the food was delicious. It gets completely reserved up so make sure to do it plenty in advance.

forgot to mention that this is in te restaurant part if the inn, although they do have another thanksgiving event in the catering portion. i've only been the restaurant event. the actual restaurant is deisgned to be a few dofferent rooms, so if you want, and you talk to them early enough, im sure you could get a pretty private dinner!

Are you sure Miller Ridge doesn't take reservations? My dad's family goes there every year for Thanksgiving and I know that they have a big group of 12+ and are able to reserve ahead.

yeah pretty sure they wanted nothing to do with my 30 person party - at least in the main restaurant. might be worth looking into again.
found out that formagio's is open. as is jonathans in garden city. neither sounded too stoked that i was interested in a reservation for 30 ppl. but at least formagio's seemed willing to work with me.
