Resume question for teachers...

Resume question for teachers...

I've had at least one practicum/field study/student teaching placement every semester since i started the teachers ed program - I'm up to eight right now and that doesn't count my next student teaching placement which starts in February.

I'm starting to get my resume and portfolio together for interviews and was wondering if i should put all of these placements down with descripitions, or may limit it... my resume is going to be 3 pages soon

list the placements and a really brief description...it's important that people see all of the experience, but i think they'll understand if you don't list every duty you had!

thanks

so, maybe one or two bullets for each practicum, and then maybe a bit more for the student teaching placements would be good?

i think that's perfect!
if they want to kow more information, they'll have to call you in for an interview to find out.....which makes you desireable

I started to get nervous when i looked at my resume (last updated around March) which was already 2 pages and short 3 placements

The list and 2 bullets is EXACTLY what FH did ---
he had so many too!

Now that resume is all together, he's working reallllly hard to be hired!

good luck to you!
