retail-clothing..
i know hteres no tax on clothes under 110$ or watever... buttttttt lets just say.. a shirt is 400$ and with all the discounts its 80$..am i still taxed?

No - you wouldn't be charged tax for that - the taz is based on the final price - NYC has no tax but suffolk has 4.625% on all clothing and shoes...
