It's all a question of budget and needs and have to have....
If it was going to blow the budget I would say forget it....

LOL..people gave me the same reaction, but I don't care. I love it and it's very 'us'.
If you love it, get it. They have them at WOTY and bridal shows and everyone has a BLAST with it, despite naysayers. Plus it gives you a really interesting and priceless photo guestbook.

I agree - but it's your wedding not mine!! If you love it and can afford then why not? Every one is going to give an opinion what matters is what you want. Who cares what your mom thinks lol

Re: RETHINKING
i lovee it. Sweet 16 is a phototog taking people's pics and putting them on a keychain. A photobooth is definitly more wedding then sweet 16

That's what we're doing and I don't think of it as 'Sweet 16' at all.

JMO i think a photobooth is def sweet 16ish but that's just me its your wedding you are gonna ultimately do whatever you want and that's what you are supposed to be doing I wouldn't have it at all

Re: RETHINKING
I think it was on an episode of Platinum Weddings...they had the photobooth and then one strip was for the guest to take and the other was mounted and they were writing things with silver marker on black paper to be put in a book.
The problem with this IMO is that I would want to hover over the thing all night long and make sure no one messed the thing up.

i went to a wedding that had this this summer. it was a really nice way to write something to the bride and groom- really personal. plus your half of the strip is like a favor to take home. it wasnt sweet 16ish at all.
there was a guy from the photobooth co. making sure everyone did the right thing and the line wasnt too bad. everyone did it during cocktail hour.
