Re: Retire?

not a chance - I'd go insane with boredom.

And I really am not interested in having kids any time soon... definitely in a few years, but not yet. And even when/if I do have kids, I can't imagine just staying home with them. I need adult company, dammit!

YES!! I was thinking that not to long ago. I would love to just stay home have 3 kids and be a house wife lolol..sounds bad but its true. However, I dont think that is going to be possible any time soon. Currently I am the only one with a job...so there goes my dream

Are you kidding??? I wish I could quit right now and NEVER look back!

ohhh gosh yess!!!!! My plan of attack is to be a stay at home mom

I think I'd love to stay home too!! But I'm just about to finish my masters so I think I'd have to work at least part time so I didn't feel like the last 2 years of intense work was a total waste. Wouldn't it be nice to win the lotto??

Re: Retire?

I have no desire to retire. I'm looking for a job now and being home is driving me nuts! I hate it and I like working and having my own money.

Re: Retire?

THE only reason I like to work is for the money but again I want to stay home once I started having kids, but again my FH wants me to work as long as I can, until his business can pick up more. I am not going to sit on my *** though I HAVE ADHD I need to constantly be moving, my friends say she'll be PTA mom , I'll probably be mowing my lawn and cleaning the gutters with my kids strapped to my back

Hahahah!! I wanted to wait a year b4 we try for kids but I am like I rather start trying in December after the wedding. We are gonna live in apt for 3 years and than buy a house we wanted to have a nice down payment so the mortgage payments are not awful.

Seriously I wanna quit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care when people say you will be bored. I can find something to do, trust me!!!

That is what I say..There is plenty of stuff we can do...Shop, clean, cook....it goes on and on and on

Re: Retire?

My feeling is that, I wouldn't mind working from home or even part time...I heart $$$$.... And well if I want nice things - I was taught I always needed to work for them and now when we have kids I am going to work even harder....

So therefore, I am unable to retire at this stage of my life- Things just keep on getting more and more expensive....

However FH on the other hand will be retire in 15 years! LUCK JERK!

I just need a better paying job, with less work to do..Does that make sense?
