So my mom and I are contributing the most to the wedding...so whose name do I put on the RSVP return addy?? my mom or me??? Keep in mind that I dont live with FH..I still live with my parents...would it be more formal to address them to her or to me???
p.s, the invite..says..
Mr. and Mrs. Angel BLah blah request the honour of your presence of the marriage of their daughter Mildred

Because your invitation is written as coming from your parents, I would use their address on the rsvps.

The person receiving the RSVPs has a big job organizing them and keeping track of who hasn't responded.... my mom DEFINITELY didn't want to do that! She's about to have a meltdown apparently over my bridal shower and the party the day after the wedding... She had us receive them!

im in the same exact position. the return address on the outer envelope is our home address (no name) and then the response envelope is addressed to me at my home address. fh has nothing to do with it hth.

I hadn't thought of it that way, I guess because I still live at home! But yes, I wouldn't want my mom to have to deal with that responsibilty on her own either. I guess it really doesn't matter either way, really.

Well, I still live with my parents...Im just debating whether to put my name or her name on the invite and on the RSVP for the return addy name

If it's not an issue of where it is going, then I would definitely use your parent's names since they are contributing to the wedding and your invite is worded as such.

I'd say that since you live with your parents, it doesn't matter quite so much, but since the invite is worded as your parents inviting, I'd put your mom's name as the RSVP. Either way, you'll be getting them right away since you live there too, but that way the invite flows with the return address.

Since you still live with your parents, it doesn't REALLY matter who's name is on the RSVP envelopes or envelope flaps.
Becasue you are using traditional wording, I would put your parents name 'Mr. and Mrs. Angel BLah blah'
BUT since they will be coming to where you live, then you can open them and keep track of the RSVPs!

who's paying for the wedding? If its not your mom, then if I were you i'd put your name on the return address. If your mom's paying (or contributing) then put her name.
In our case, Fh and I are paying for the whole thing. We put my parents address (since its just easier for them to go there) but put mine and FH's names.
